Samsung Omnia audio video out cables

one of the cool features with just about any windows mobile phone these days is that you can hook it up to your tv and do anything on your phone on your tv. anything from presentations to watching movies and even playing video games all on your tv with a simple connection universal connection

now as you can see i used it for movies.. which you can use with any video player. anything you use on your phone you can use on the tv just the same.

someone like me is going to use it to play movies and video games. but someone that is in the business world might take advantage of the power point, excel, and word programs on the phone to use as a quick and easy access to use in presentations. think about it, why carry around a large laptop in to a presentation your doing when you can just use your phone.

now i know these cables wont work in every samsung phone but according to samsung.com

"Compatible Samsung Phones : Omnia (SCH-i910), FlipShot (SCH-u900), Memoir (SGH-T929)" now it comes up as the american version of the website since i live in america, so its only gonna show the compatible phones that are available here in america. in other countries the omnia is called the i900, i908, t1 and i think i have heard of 2 more versions but i could never confirm them.

everywhere else i look they are being sold for 15$ - 20$ but i got mine for WAY cheaper than that at e_snin's store which sells a bunch of stuff for really cheap. from phone stuff - ipod stuff - professional camera stuff all for a well worth it price.

not many of you will remember this but in the movie gia she was gia's girlfriend. but nowadays she is more widely knows as juliet from the tv show lost (which is like one of my top 5 tv shows). who couldt fall in love with that face? she is gorgeous eyes, smile, boobs for god sake she has a sex body.. not to skinny and not thick she has the curves in the right places.. rarrrrr!!!! im a tiger and she is my prey *pounce*

Screen Protectors for mobile phones - before, after, how to

one thing people are worried about especially with touch screen phones, is scratches on the screen. all over people are selling screen protectors for phones of every kind.

well i decided to test out a screen protector and see how well it worked and rather it was worth it or not. i used this screen protector for 2 months to see how the outcome was. now keep in mind i use my phone alot, it comes in and out of my pocket all the time and i even ended up dropping it on some rocks which ended up breaking the case i was using (you will see that in a later post). so since i dropped it on some rocks im glad the screen protector was on there in case it had rubbed up on the screen.

now as you can see it didnt look like much but thats mainly due to the camera... if you look at it with your eyes you can see a lot of small scratches that i would MUCH rather have on my screen protector than my actuall screen since i cant replace the screen and i can just get a new protector if need be.

now these come pretty cheap and at a set of 3. for the price and the possibilities i think it is very much worth it to get these for your phone. who knows what can happen and you accidently scratch your screen.

hawt hawt hawt... yeah i first fell in love with her in heroes tv show but i had seen her befor in movies. for some reason it was heroes that made her really stand out... not sure if it was the acting or the fact that im a huge heroes fan... and lets not forget her love of star wars and the princess leia outfit... she is going to be one of my future wives and have like 68 billion of my babies... rawrs! ok kristen if you read this call me we need to get started.....

Apps - EyePhoto , Nimbuzz, Pandora

so i have some new apps for you to read about and love... so instead of me dickin around with stupid things like speeder dogs and epic jedi squirrel battles, i will just get to the apps cause i know thats what you want more... then we will get to a hot chick... not sure who that will be yet

--==EyePhoto==--: great photo app for your phone for quick and easy access to your pics

EyePhoto comes to you from vito technology who has made a number of programs (eyephoto is all i have used).

this program is great for us omnia users since the media album program just sucks. it is very easy to use and very straight forward. it works in portrait and landscape perfectly with a finger friendly scroll. with this all of your albums with photos are right there no need to search threw all the folders on you phone to go to one album to the next.

all you do is load the app and then open it.. from there it searches your phone for all photos and then lists the name of the folder and how many pictures are in it. you then click on the folder and scroll threw till you find the picture you want then tap that pic and it will show you the picture. you have a few options with it like zooming, rotating, sending and deleting. you can open up the image and then scroll threw the pictures by flicking left o right with your finger.

all in all this is a great photo app viewer app and i suggest you give it a try if you use your phone for pictures allot like i do.



--==Nimbuzz==--: chat, call, and a bunch of other stuff

This has to be the best communication program i have used yet.... you can connect to 15 different chat programs like aim, yahoo, msn, skype, myspace and facebook. threw those you can chat, edit friends, send and receive files, and even call people with voip.

now i probably use like 7 of the chat communities they have listed but im sure there is some nerd out there that uses all of them. but still when it comes to programs for chat this one is the best i have used so far... i mean come on show me another that his file transfer and calling options... you can also load your phone's contact list in here that you can even back up on to the web for safe storage!

now i would post pictures of it in use but i dont want to have to edit out all my contact's names and stuff... but this is an awesome app and i highly recommend getting... best thing about it is thats a free app.. thats right all free... they wont charge you for a thing (your service might charge you for voip depending on your package)

so go pick this one up!


--==Pandora==--: do it yourself radio station (omnia users read note at end)

first off i would like to say when it comes to music on my phone this is my favorite app!

now i dont know if you have ever used the radio function on yahoo messenger, but you used to be able to make your own radio station, well this is similar.

all you need to do is type in an artist or a genre you really like and it will pull up that artist's music or music of the genre you selected... from there it will play songs of similar types of music. as you can see from the screen shots i have a marilyn manson station and marilyn manson played first, then its follwed by similar music types such as nine inch nails then korn and powerman5000

now 3 of those bands i like allot manson, NIN, and powerman... korn is alright..... now if it was a band i didnt like at all like disturbed i would hit the thumbs down icon and it would never play that song for me again. if i hit the thumbs up icon it will play that song more often. you can skip threw songs pause them and i believe you can even go back and listen to a song over again...

from the pics again you can see i have more than one station. i can make up to 100 stations and if i hit the quick mix option it will mix songs from all of my stations making my very own station of just music i like... i know awesome right?

it uses the music genome project to bring you the music of your liking and so far from all of my use, the project was a huge success. if your not sure your going to like it i suggest you go to the website and test it out on the web. yes on the web... this isnt JUST on your phone.. you can use it on any computer that supports flash. go sign up type in your favorite artist and give it a swing.

now the app and web use are completely free to use but they do have some like 10 sec advertisements every 5 or so songs but its still worth it... if you like it enough you can subscribe to pandora for i think 35$ and you will get no advertisements and some additional features.

all in all its a great app... i am even going to make use of the 3.5 input jack in the back of my cd player in my car once i drill in to the panel to run the jack down near my shifter just so i can use this app when i drive

This app hasnt be made specifically for the omnia yet but a version for another phone works just fine with some additional setup.

1. sign up on the web but dont bother with the phone part
2. go here and download the app its in post 7 (if you dont have an account there its free and ALL omnia users should be on this site)
3. install the app
4. befor you open the installed app go to your phone menu then settings then buttons... assing the "main menu hold" button to "input panel"
5. go open pandora
6. when it asks you to sign in with your name and password hold in the menu button on the side of your phone
7. the keyboard will pop up and you can now input your name and password
8. once logged in you can change the menu button back to what ever you had if you want

and wahla!you now have awesomeness!

yes that is the super cute and nerdishly sexy redhead girl from mythbusters..

kari did a few things on the show other than raising ratings. she built things, tested things, and even became the ginnie pig in a few episodes... mythbusters was a good show but she made it great. she even had a photo shoot in FHM for the june 2006th magazine which made every nerd blow his load. there isnt really much more i can say about her cause all she has done is been in mythbusters and some interviews.... so here i leave you with the pics!
